This is BS, I have never had an in person meeting with a loan officer.  For my last 2 mortgages and a refinance everything has been done online.  My last name is a strange one too, it could be any ethnicity.[/quote]

I tried to get a loan to buy a parking space in DC. I couldn't get one, even though my credit is excellent. Had to pay for the space out of pocket.

I'm white though, so I guess I don't get to blame racism. Which sucks because I'd really like to enjoy the self-satisfaction that comes with feeling morally superior. [/quote]
