Yes.  My friend just received a 12k bracelet for birthday from her husband.  But they don't even own their own home.  They live in a crappy rental and are all about appearances.  They go to the best parties, high end clothing, ridiculously expensive jewelry etc.  yet they are probably too good for the house we own.  It's all a joke.  [/quote]
