Not by a long shot. Without a native speaker in the home or a whole lot of pricey tutoring, YY Chinese is downright embarrassing. But, hey, why nitpick in one of the lowest performing urban public school systems in the country? If their ELA and math PARCC scores are acceptable, immersion charters get a pass on language instruction, period. [/quote]
