The people who are adamant about no animals on a plane..... so no blind people are allowed on your flight? No people with true, helpful service animals can be at the same gate waiting with you? It doesn't matter if OP has a legitimate service dog if many of you are saying that you will suffer a life threatening emergency if you come near an animal. Serious question, how do you handle flying? Do you call the airline right before the flight and ask if any blind people with seeing eye dogs are on the flight? If they actually give you an answer, do you go on another flight? While not common I have seen seeing eye dogs on flights. There was not a mass exodus for the door. Somehow everyone survived the flight. I am truly wondering how the severe allergy suffers handle it. I guess the same with a restaurant, hotel, workplace, etc. There are 2 service dogs in my kids' school. There was a service dog at my old office. If you are blind and your service dog goes to cargo I guess the blind person is on their own unless they want to go to cargo too???
