There is no evidence of Trump's competence.  His investments did worse than than the S&P 500.  Besides his multiple bankruptcies, he had numerous failed ventures, from Trump steaks to condo projects that never got off the ground.  Most major banks will not do business with him.  Despite his promises, he does not have enough money to self-fund his campaign.  He is unable to  form a coherent policy statement. His appeal outside the Republican base is almost zero due to his racist buffoonery.  What has actually done right in his life, other than inherit $250 million and win the GOP primary shit show? He didn’t keep a private server that housed top secret information. 
He didn’t ignore pleas for additional security in Benghazi where ultimately 4 died. 
He didn’t blame his spouse’s indiscretions on a “right wing conspiracy.”
He didn’t claim to have come under sniper fire in Bosnia.  
I could go on, but you get the idea......
