He and I talked over and over about what went wrong. I love him, he doesn't love me anymore. He moved on before we were even done.

It's a sad fact that people do fall out of love, for a variety of reasons. At least it did it between the 2 and 3 year mark, instead of stringing you along.  I also suspected you have some personality traits that changed in the course of that time and he didn't like those. I do think it is immature that he moved on before the breakup happened, because it shows he didn't digest what he had with you, what went wrong, and what he is really looking for.  His "rebound" won't last more than six months.
