[/quote] Depending what you mean by "very normal sandals", this may be fine, but wearing supportive walking shoes isn't just about being comfortable. It is also protecting your feet from foot pain and deformities as you get older. I can't tell you how many people I see walking around DC in flimsy flip flops. (Signed, someone already starting to have foot problems in my late 30s). Look at your mom or grandma's feet to see what you may have in store.[/quote]
