Are you talking about how you want to raise your kids in terms of language, religion, and such? Or do you think that children of different ethnic appearances are "different kinds" of kids? I absolutely understand not wanting to marry someone from a different country or vastly different culture-- coming from the same background can make raising kids a lot easier. That's not racism at all. (I happen to be married to someone of a different race from a different country, but I don't think it's racism that most people from his culture don't marry people from different backgrounds, although the idea of having to marry within one's own "caste" to me is a similarly prejudiced idea, less about real differences between human beings than perceived and culturally-invented differences, like race itself.)[/quote]
