soy milk with molasses mixed in, a lemon blueberry raspberry muffin (homemade), apple amd strawberry slices, and some chickpeas roasted with maple syrup, cinnamon and coconut oil
Are these crunchy or soft. My kids love chickpeas and I'm looking for more breakfast ideas. Can you suggest roasting temp and time? Due to some issues with under eating in the past we put out way too many options and the kids take bites here and there of many different things. Lunch and dinner have gotten better (one meat, veg, carb and maybe a couple other things) but breakfast I haven't yet moved to something like one bowl of cereal with fruit. So today (twins). I cube cheese (little bigger than a dice), couple bites lox, 1/3 of a poptart (gluten free version due to celiac, no more healthy than a regular pop tart), few bites of raisin toast with jam and cream cheese (gluten free bread is pretty hefty and they never eat much of it), some peaches with me. Then my husband came down and of course they wanted all the fruit from his bowl of cereal so they ended up having a good bit of mixed berries. No milk or water much to my consternation.
