My 8-year old had this Sunday--said belly hurt too.  No fever at all or other symptoms.  He seemed better Monday and went to school.  Monday night he looked slightly flushed.  By Tuesday morning, running a 101 fever.  Strep positive, but ZERO sore throat or any other symptoms.  Throat was only slightly red.

I tested negative for Strep but have been feeling like crap since last Thursday--hot flashes, feverish (but no fever), dr saw lots of congestion when she looked in my ears and said that is what is causing my 'off' feeling.  Recommended Mucinex.  DH has exact same symptoms.  Literally 9 out of 10 adults I talk to have this weird virus-like thing going on right now.  I don't usually get allergies so don't know wth is going on. We are a household that is never sick.  My kids, spouse and I never even use a sick day normally.[/quote]
