A major issue with our HOA board is that most of the people on there don't even live in the neighborhood and just rent out the homes.  So guess they're not aware of all of the other decks that aren't in compliance.  I didn't want to mention that fact because didn't want to cause trouble for other homeowners.

No clue!

Reston HOA doesn't allow the fences in Reston to be stained or painted. And obviously people have trouble maintaining fences there. [/quote]
