When were you at Kamp? Since it has become a Starwood property, I feel like the quality has decreased.  Best burger and fries in Helsinki, though!

Best Hotel prekids - Four Season Mauritius. Amazing.  Also amazing was Singita Sabi Sands in South Africa, but not a typical hotel.

OP, there are only a couple of these redesigned rooms that I know of (at least as of two summers ago).  It's a king room and we put in a crib.  It worked well for us because it has a full balcony and a really nice bathroom (small, but very nice), a wet bar with fridge, shutters, wood floors, etc.  I wouldn't be able to make it work now with a 5 year old because of the bed situation. I do recommend the Sanderling overall, though! Great pools for both kids and adults, nice beach, good food on site, etc.  We stayed two years in a row for almost a week in the same room.  Trying the DE beaches this year.[/quote]
