It makes no sense. Just think when the kids are older. If the car is left on, they could put it in drive. Why do the manufacturers think of needing to have a foot on the brake to start, but not needing a fob near to keep it running. OP, you need to start building something into your routine. Turn car off before open door. Check that car is off after open door. Maybe lock car door with fob even though it is in the garage ( I assume this will make it beep like crazy)[/quote]
