Religion persists because you are not supposed to be reasonable with it. Using reason to argue against religion is like using science to argue against astrology. The other side won't be convinced and you will only be frustrated in the process. When someone makes a dubious claim without foundation in the facts, just dismiss it and move on. There is no point in arguing against it. [/quote]
