to those who mentioned Dr. Bajoghli and his PA Janice Rasmussen, DO NOT GO THERE!!!! I saw Janice Rasmussen and asked her about an annoying spot in the "nether region" and was told it looked like scar tissue. How could it be scar tissue when there is no scar or any other reason for scar tissue to be there. I took her word for it. but it continued to be annoying, so when i went to the GYN, i asked her about it. she did a biopsy, and it was most certainly NOT scar tissue. It was a VIN2 (vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia, level 2, which is mid-range, level 3 is the highest grade). if Janice had caught it when i saw her 5 months earlier, it may have been level 1, or no level at all!! I had to go thru 2 surgeries to remove it thoroughly. NOT FUN!!! I realize that even doctors can make mistakes, but i would rather biopsy it first and have her be wrong than to go through what i went through. and, yes, i realize it could have been a LOT worse, but for me, at that point, it was awful!! to those who mentioned Dr. Fran Rotter, i think she is awesome!!! I had a mole on my forehead, just inside the hairline, and it would bleed when i brushed my hair. she removed it and biopsied it. she said it didnt look bad, but because it would bleed, she thought it would be a good thing to check it out. it was a basal cell. her husband, Dr. Steven Rotter, removed it with MOHS, and you cant see the scar unless i point it out. He has also removed a squamous cell (which she diagnosed), and you cant see that scar, either!! I love them and i cant wait to go back now that i have insurance they both accept. hope this helps if you havent found someone you like.
