[/quote] Well I think some truly moderate republicans don't identify with the extreme tea party turn the party has taken. And on some issues anyway, Hillary is not really all that liberal. My DH is a moderate republican who works in national security- he is genuinely worried what Trump would do on that front. Whereas Hillary is a known commodity, even if he doesn't agree with her in everything. He's also a fiscal conservative who thinks congressional republicans showboat on the budget and national debt rather than actually tackle the real issues. On social issues, he's rather ambivalent and thinks they spend too much time fighting gay marriage and abortion. He wouldn't vote for Bernie, however. He probably just wouldn't vote.[/quote]
