Perhaps some of the parents here don't realize that Gen Ed also = smart. My Gen Ed kid knows exactly what AAP is and who's in it. It's in their face, every single day at school. It's not like these kids are blissfully ignorant. Kids talk about it and FCPS/the administration and teachers see fit to segregate these kids wherever possible. Most kids are perceptive and acutely aware of where they stand at school. It's a completely unhealthy environment to have kids thinking one group is "smarter" than the other. I seriously can't wait until my kids are in high school and through with this nonsense.[/quote]
