Did you see a recent episode of Girls focusing entirely on Marnie. Lena wasn't in the episode but she wrote it. I thought it was really good.
I agree, I thought it was excellent. People don't like Lena because she's unapologetic and not conventionally attractive. Sexism at its finest.
Wow. Is it sexist to you whenever a woman is disliked, for whatever reason? Howard Stern is unapologetic and not conventionally attractive (to say the least). I find him repulsive. But I guess that's acceptable to you because he's a man. We just can't dislike women. Got it.
New poster here. But there are never any threads about Howard Stern, despite the fact that he continues to grind out his show year after year. But some people really, really hate Lena Dunham, and I think there is a sexist element to it. Every thread mentions how ugly her body is, as if they are FORCED to watch her show and see her naked. It is meant to be provocative! Her body is a normal, female body and not a traditional starlet or body double. If you don't like it, don't watch. Obviously her show is successful.
