Good for you for telling the boss you're scaling back on the admin work.
I think you should not bring up the rude comment with the new employee. Too much time has passed and he probably doesn't remember it anymore. If you bring it up he'll know that you've been thinking about it all this time and he's gotten under your skin. It will just give him more leverage against you.[/quote]
