Andie MacDowell was the horrible [b]piece of driftwood[/b] in so many otherwise good movies of that period. I'll watch pretty much any Hugh Grant romcom. He was made for them. [i]Music and Lyrics[/i] isn't too bad, since you can sing along to the silly 80s "Pop Goes My Heart" theme song, and Drew Barrymore is better than Andie MacDowell and Julia Roberts. [/quote] Pretty to look at but completely lightweight. She was the female version of Kevin Costner. Four Weddings and Bull Durham were good despite these clunky actors. Same for Julia Roberts in Mystic Pizza. But for all of them their acting talents run the gamut from A to B.[/quote]
