[/quote] At least in theory, being outside My School DC gives them some degree of influence over the pool the kids are chosen from, i.e. by performing outreach to groups they feel are underrepresented. Since they can't screen for language skills like DCPS can, what other option does an immersion charter have who is trying to achieve a balance of native speakers of both languages?[/quote]
