What if she has a health emergency? My BIL died suddenly overseas, and DH's new passport had not yet been delievered (as I wrote, he is usually on top of passports requirements). It was a nightmare weekend while we tried to get an emergency passport made so that we could make it to the funeral. Don't do that to yourself. [/quote]
