Your DD's cutting is likely to have an impact on her siblings and DH so it is important to consider whether as parents you need some couples' therapy to be on same page and to work out honest feelings and response to the situation.  Also how to approach her siblings about what has happened depending on ages. Getting advice on how to treat DD with love and support, but also responsible expectations as a member of a family.  You are right to be proactive.[/quote]
