But I am the kind of parent that tells my friends, if my kid is being a jerk, drinking, or doing drugs or treating girls poorly, please let me know. We are not there yet (only 13, other than potential jerky stuff!) and I would hope I would have a sense, but we can sometimes, even though we think we won't, turn a blind eye to our own kids. I love the book Beautiful Boy, it's the best book about being the father of addict out there and he started with a lot of denial (it's only pot, etc.) [/quote]
