[/quote] some of those families starting elsewhere do so out of necessity because they're turned away from IB Peabody. Some seek out options like language immersion only available at Tyler (Spanish and finite slots). I think it's reductionist to frame this neighborhood vs charters. Every family assesses cost/benefits of convenience vs pedagogy or a wide range of other factors and then determines which works best for them.[/quote]
