Actually, it did. I reported the first Atheist troll and Jeff deleted it and have gotten that result on other threads. Jeff does not actively patrol Christian threads for dissenters or folks just here to attack or slander as he actively patrols any thread related to Islam, but he will delete if you report an out of line post.  Frankly, if he were to patrol the Christian bashers with the same energy and thoroughness as he patrols the Islam threads, he would have no time to do anything else.

The atheist who is obsessed with Christians keeps posting, report him. Jeff might delete some of the posts.

I would think if the atheist troll truly believed Christianity was all fairy tales, myths and flying spaghetti monsters he would either ignore it like a rataional person or just shake his hesd and smile at all the unenlightened posters, but he doesn't. I'm 15:12 and I'm also the poster with St. George near the front door. I've reported many cases of clear-cut trolling and obvious abuse, especially anti-Catholic bigotry (I'm not Catholic myself). I think maybe once a post was deleted. So I don't bother reporting either. But since I'd like to be able to have some real conversations here, and the troll(s) make that impossible, I'm going with shame. I've watched these threads for several years and ignoring the trolls doesn't work,[b] they just amp up the bad behavior[/b] in desperate attempts to get noticed. Maybe shame will cause some much-needed self-reflection?[/quote]

YOu could still ignore it.  Besides trolling can be in the eyes of the beholder.  Some people think disagreement is trolling.[/quote]
