Most women think they look young for their age. Isn't it funny how often people "guess" that you are much younger, and seem "shocked" by your real age. They are being polite. If any woman asks me to guess her age, I always say something ridiculously low. Sorry, I'm not trying to make you feel bad. I'm older than you. I just want you to be realistic. I know aging is hard, especially when younger people pick on you about it.
Eh, it's not that. I come from a large family. My youngest sibling is 8 years younger than me. Every single time someone volunteers to/ is asked to assign ages to the siblings, I am guessed to be the youngest. It's a running joke in my family. My friends also tease me about it. It's something I have come to accept, from life experience. The fact is, plenty of women look much younger than their age. Again, it puzzles to me as to why there is such ire/ denial about that? Maybe people feel like I'm cheating the system, or it's just an issue of a woman acknowledging a trait of theirs that has been traditionally been seen as an asset? (Though I'm not sure being frozen at 15 for 17 years is necessarily the ideal age at which to stop aging) I'm not sure. But it always puzzles me the lengths to which people will go to deny that an anonymous person on DCUM looks much younger....
Obviously *some* people look young for their age. Just like some people are above average drivers, etc. Maybe I'm jaded from constantly having to humor people (in real life) when they "complain" about looking so young for their age. More often than not, they don't look that young, but I have to pretend to be shocked so I don't burst their bubbles.
That's a regular topic of conversation among your friend/acquaintance group? Huh. You hang out with some weird people.
It's not a regular thing. It's once every few months, with different people thing.
Alright. Then I'm not sure you know what "constantly" means....
