[/quote] The regulation is quite vague. It does not suggest that centers are necessary. It does not define what benchmark to use for "gifted"--i.e. IQ score or such. Superior performance in the performing arts is also defined as "gifted". FCPS has taken this law WAAAAY too far. Any child could be identified as needing gifted services if you read the reg. [/quote]
