[/quote] I agree the students (and parents) should be judged as much or more than the teachers and school, but I don't understand what you think I'm not getting. I still think we should have end of year tests for subjects and that those grades should be made public so that people can see how a school is doing. It's the state's decision what to do with those scores related to teachers and schools. I don't want the teacher to be able to teach whatever they want to or not want to. I want my child to demonstrate some minimal competency at the end of the year as measured in a test.[/quote]
