Exact same situation here with my current 4th grader.  Perfect score on the HGC test and very high MAP M scores. My son is happier in math than he ever has been just because of the peer group.  The curriculum may be the same but for us is has not been the same as home school.   Sure,it would be nice if it was more challenging but it's an improvement.   Btw eye opening experience for my son to be around kids even better at math than him.  [/quote]
