Why are you so concerned about Brent families, their MS options and property values?  Seems very odd.  It's great that you are IB for a SH feeder and wish you well.  Hopefully the Kiddos living IB for LT, JO Wilson and the Cluster decide to stay through 5th and finally make SH majority IB, especially when so many opted for Brent when they had the chance.  Perhaps your time is better spent on figuring out how to improve SH and its feeder schools, not worrying about the issues Brent parents face after Fourth Grade.  Be assured that we'll continue to figure things out on our own despite what passes for logical decisionmaking at DCPS and the Mayor's office.  One more thing:  why do you think the Cluster principal has been working so hard to recruit Brent students for SH via Watkins?  Food for thought.[/quote]
