My gay married friends with kids go to church and are very active in faith based activities. My single gay friends are active in their churches as well. So there's no need to fear gays tearing down churches. Seriously. You might want to try actually speaking with a gay person IRL before passing such crazy judgment.
Going to church does not make you a Christian nor does it mean you shall enter heaven. There are murderers, liars, adulterers, drunks, pedarasts and pedophiles who sit in the church appearing good on the outside but on the inside are utterly depraved and wicked. God created male and female to be together. A homosexual who says "I am a Christian and I am gay; it is who I am" is the same as a murderer saying "I am a Christian and I molest little boys; it is who I am." Jesus declaring that marriage is between male and female: “Have you not read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh.h Matthew 19 How many more times does this have to be said? Calling yourself a Christian but living a lifestyle of a non-Christian means you are not a Christian. A true, believing Christian takes seriously the words of Jesus. Christians do not willingly, actively practice murder, homosexuality, stealing, and other sins. Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:9 Notice at the end: "some of you were doing this but you have been cleansed of your sins." Gays can be cleansed of the sin of homosexuality the same as murderers can repent of their deeds and stop doing it. Do not be deceived and believe the lies that you can live contrary to God's laws and you'll be just peachy with Jesus. Nope, does not happen. Those who love God obey his commandments because the commands are true and righteous and lead to holiness which God has commanded: Be ye holy as I am holy.
Wow, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, pp. But people like you who are so rabidly homophobic tend to be struggling with homosexuality themselves. It's okay if you are gay, pp. Step out of the closet. We won't judge you.
