"Free thinker" or not, you posted with piss, vinegar, and hostility. You erected a straw man and made assumptions (pro-tip: never use the word "obviously" like you did -- it's not obvious to any of us that religion doesn't influence your thinking; on the contrary, it clearly does). You suggest atheists are angry, but there's more anger in this post than a defensive SAHM venting about being upbraided for nursing her 6 year-old in public.

What we have here is a classic case of not understanding how you are perceived. You think of yourself as one thing ("free thinker.") The rest of us see insecurity, defensiveness, anger, and a lack of critical thinking and reflection.
