I agree pet names make me uncomfortable - trying too hard to establish false intimacy way too quickly. The question if I don't want to talk to him makes me feel like I'm giving him permission for ________what? Intruding? It doesn't matter, I'm moving on. it took me off guard because he claimed to be an educated businessman. His dad, who is an MD, had privileges in the hospital where I work.[/quote]
