My four yr olds pediatrician recommended it for constipation in Jan 2015, few days later at 12:15, he had a screaming crying episode, holding belly, knees up to chest, carried on for 10 mins. He also had shaky hands. He snapped right out of it and started eating his lunch. I thought it was just gas and dismissed it. Second episode was 14 days later at 11:45am, where he zoned out and wasn't answering grandmothers questions, just staring at her. She kept asking if he was okay, he turned towards me and just stood. He also wasn't responding to my questions. I too two steps back and he followed. I took another few steps back and he followed. Again shaky hands noted. This episode lasted 7 mins and he then snapped out of it. Third episode was 11:45 12 days later when I was picking him up from school. Teacher was calling/yelling out his name three times (I heard this from my car with closed windows). She walked over to him sitting and he wasn't responding emotionally or physically. After asking him over and over how come he didn't come over, he did say "he was stuck." Teacher noticed very shaky hands and was alarmed enough to call another teacher over. On the way home Mason was very quiet, wasn't responding to any questions I asked. All of a sudden he was crying and yelling out mommy mommy, but wouldn't tell me what was wrong. He took his glasses off and started rubbing eyes like they were really burning (as if he smelled onions) and was trying to get the burn out. He then got really pale and looked as if he was gonna go in deep sleep, I kept talking to him and pulled into driveway where he asked I carry him in. That episode lasted 20 mins. The very odd thing is, all three episodes that I experienced for myself were all very similar to in time. Miralax we gave to him religiously at the same time 6:30-6:45am. I also want to point out, I dismissed two episodes to constipation and not feeling well, however my red mommy flag went up every single time. Mason only goes to preschool 3 half days, so I was lucky enough to see these three episodes for myself and see the similarities in each event. Now if someone's child is taking it and are in school, or around diff people at the time, they will most likely dismiss it too as not feeling well. That's if they are even able to pick up on the child being quiet and not being able to talk. Masons idiot pediatrician dismissed that it could of been the Miralax, and referred him for an EEG,were still waiting to heat. I stopped the miralax after the third episode. This should NOT be given to children!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sick to my stomach I did this to my baby and may have caused long lasting problems. Please please, if u feel like something isn't right and Ure giving this to Ure babies, consider stopping it.
