Anyone else feel like the DCUM bitchiness is particularly bad when people are snowed in? I wonder if it is bored teenagers or maybe moms who can't stand being in such close proximity of their families for an entire day.
No, I think there are just very some very sad sick people who sit at their computers or I-phones and wait for the first new thread and then think they are clever (?) by making a hurtful remark. There are more of these type of posters all the time. And I don't think they are the older women. I think they are younger, sad, miserable women who get some glee or feeling of power off of making fun of other peoples' problems. You can see the pattern. Someone posts a "help" thread and the first and second posters say something hateful or put-down the OP. It's too bad because sometimes the thread then takes off in the wrong direction and the original OP doesn't get the info they need so they go somewhere else (which ultimately means less viewers, advertisers, success and income for Jeff) However, I do notice an uptick in nastiness before Thanksgiving holidays running through the New Year. That i chuck up to all the stress women are under to make the holidays go smoothly, cook (I don't), deal with inlaws, gifts, class gifts, etc.
