I like it.[/quote] Right, the rich kids are the most qualified kids. Got it. How is it that NOBODY on these threads seems to understand why magnets started in the first place? It's to PULL (hence the term magnet) kids from more affluent neighborhoods into a more transitional neighborhood. This is under the theory that the parents will be more involved and the very motivated and bright but somewhat lower SES kids from the neighborhood will benefit. That was the point. It wasn't supposed to be about your particular kid, so please come off it already.[/quote]
