If you are somewhere else, contact the District Court Family Law department and they can tell you who to call for free or low-cost legal advice to get you started.

If your DH threatens you physically -- call the police and file a report.  You must have  a police report filed if you plan to bring up the threats during the divorce proceedings.[/quote]
