Not in DC.  My child has been in almost every hip bar downtown, starting from about a week old.  I didn't let anyone other than 2 or 3 relatives touch her though until she was six weeks old.  Thd cold or snow wouldn't bother me as much as if it were very crowded, but I was very sensitive to germs in the early weeks.[/quote]

You brought your kid to a place that served food AND liquor. You cannot bring a minor inside ANY establishment that predominately sells liquor. It is illegal in every state.

Don't believe me, bring your child to a pub and see what happens. You will be arrested for child abuse. Go ahead, bring your baby to a BAR. I doubt they let you in. [/quote]

I have done it, when we lived in Brooklyn and had only one child, multiple times.  Our mommy group did happy hours, sometimes at restaurants, sometimes at bars that did not serve food.  Everyone was allowed in.  No one was arrested.  Everything was fine.

Yeah poster you must not get out much cause people are definitely bringing their babies to bars and in Brooklyn where beergardens are a thing. Not to mention here in VA where wineries are huge babies are everywhere!
