Politics is complicated, lots of issues must be juggled at the same time, you want yours at the front, you must do the work to make it so. Johnson was not wrong in saying he had a lot on his plate, he needed the work that went into the marches to persuade the rest of the country. You cannot live in Washington and not realize this.
