The man paid for everything so he needs to get his money's worth before a woman is allowed to divorce him?[/quote] No. The man paid for everything so a woman's choice to divorce, if based on frivolous reasons, deeply affects him. That is why there may be a system of checks and balances in place to ensure divorce is not a decision made frivolously. [/quote]
