11:22 your answer is good with a glaring exception. People watching porn is not bad, wrong or a big mistake. It is something some people feel the need to do, and as long as no one is hurt by it there is nothing wrong with it. It would not be my choice, like many things in life that are legal but not to everyone's liking.
Thanks for your feedback. I didn't mean to offend anyone with my answer and I'm sorry if I did. I stated that "we believe" viewing such material to be a mistake and a bad choice, because according to our family's values pornography is wrong. I want to strongly discourage my children from looking at it even once they're of age because I think there is high potential for negative impacts and relatively low if any potential for positives to come from viewing p*rn. I think it's a mistake because of where I have seen it lead -- to addictions and harming real relationships and getting into stuff that's less than legal. Because it's so easy to have all of those negative things arise from viewing p*rn I think it's a mistake to begin doing so in the first place. Also, to me that industry seems very exploitative and I think it sends messages about sex and relationships that are counter to what our family personally believes. Therefore for our family that choice would be pretty incompatible with our personal values and religious beliefs, so for us specifically it would be a bad idea and a wrong choice to view that. If other adults do not have a religious conviction against it and have found material to view that they are satisfied was created in an ethical and legal way and therefore make the personal decision that they want to view that material, they can make that choice for themselves.
