[/quote] This past winter was abnormally cold for Wisconsin and many parts of the country. Yes, Wisconsin has winter but people are out and about. Cross-country skiing, small family friendly ski resorts that many people from Chicago drive up to, ice skating. Plenty of restaurants, theater, sporting events, etc to keep you busy in the winter. The other seasons are beautiful. The lakes in Madison are great. Nice day and weekend trips also. Chicago for big city getaways or Door County Wisconsin in the summer is lovely.[/quote]
