I am a huge Israel supporter but I and most of the other Israel supporters I know are in favor of a 2 state solution. However, it is not possible with Hamas bc they will never be happy with 2 states, as their only want to destroy Israel. I believe it is possible with Abbas and that Israel should be doing more to reach out to them and "reward" the non-violent efforts but now that Fatah and Hamas have formed a unity party, it basically impossible.  The US would not and should not ever negotiate with Al Queda and Israel will not and should not negotiate with Hamas.[/quote]

The premise of your question is false. Hamas is an internationally recognized terrorist organization. Israel is a democracy. Let Hamas renounce terror and recognize Israel's right to exist and let negotiations ensue. [/quote]
Was Hamas not democratically elected? Or you think that it's only a democracy when you like the results?
