[/quote] Given that I eat almost entirely lean protein and vegetables on my 500 calorie day, I am actually doing pretty well nutritionally. I am very healthy - low cholesterol, low triglycerides, lots of energy, good blood pressure, etc. I just gained a lot of weight with my pregnancies and in the last I resorted to starving myself, binging and purging, and diet pills to lose the weight. Those are all bad ideas - far worse for than that cutting out calories 2 days a week. And all of the studies I have read have actually supported intermittent fasting for health reasons. So for me, its worth a shot.[/quote]
