Which BBC version did you prefer 1983 or 2011. Timothy Dalton was way to pretty to play Mr. Rochester and Zelah Clarke was way too dumpy to play Jane. I really like Ruth Wilson as Jane, but Fassbender has Stephens beat as a more compelling Rochester hands down. (Compare the two in the aftermath of the fire.
