She did ace Math 7 but although she found IM easy she was not bored and I was happy to know she was getting a year of pre Algebra. I'm hoping this will give her a more thorough foundation.[/quote] My kid aced Algebra I. IM was a complete waste of a year. If you pull out serious Algebra books and high school level Algebra I word problems, no one in 7th grade could get them. They teach for acing tests only. My kid is 12 and got a 99% on the final but still doesn't "get" real Algebra. [/quote]
