I think OP is being rude and overstating her point.  True bobs do look great on some people.

For the rest of us, I've noticed that a bit of angling and layering helps make the look softer, more flattering and more current.  Basically, a modified/updated bob that isn't as severe at the bottom.

But again, that more classic bob looks terrific on plenty of people.  Just not me.  (My hair is too thick and wavy, and my neck is too short.  On me, a bob turns into "triangle hair," which is awful on ANYONE!)[/quote]
