He took pysch 101, soc 101, Eng 101 and 102 during the school  year, this summer he will take Stats and Western Civ. He's knocking out some of the gen ed stuff that will apply regardless of his major.[/quote]

Your kid was taking college classes during the year?  Why does he need to "knock out" college courses while he's a high school sophomore -- is he planning to do one of those 6 year BS/MD programs or something like that?  Because honestly this sounds weird.  [/quote]

Because we are poor. We can't affford SAT prep or tutors. My son will do 2 years at Montgomery College, then 2 at UMCP. The sooner he gets his credits from Montgomery College the sooner he gets to go to UMCP, which is his motivation to take these classes. [/quote]
