The NBA is an entertainment product that markets itself heavily to the AA community and has a huge AA following. You don't offend your customer base that way and expect to have no consequences. What he said wasn't illegal. It was massively offensive to his primary customers, though, and to the customers of the remaining NBA franchises. For the good of the NBA brand, he has to go. [/quote]
